Projection Ascq 44: the martyrs of the North

The documentary film by the Aguesse brothers will be screened on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 6:15 pm at the UGC in Villeneuve d'Ascq, on the occasion of the commemoration of the Massacre of Ascq.
Germain and Robin Aguesse, director, screenwriter and editor for one, director and producer for the other and metropolitan, have set themselves the mission of filming sometimes unknown moments in history so that they do not fall into oblivion.
The documentary film «Ascq 44: les martyrs du Nord», their fourth production, supported by the city, is built around the stories of the last witnesses, Mesdames Béghin, Sabin et Delahaye and Monsieur Baratte.
The film will also be screened at Pont des Arts de Marcq en Baroeul on April 3 and at Orchies on April 19. It will also be broadcast on France 3 Hauts-de-France on May 8, 2025, and will be available on France.tv in replay right after.
