The 80th anniversary of 8 May 1945

The official ceremony will be held at 11 am at the foot of the Tree of Freedom and the Monument to the Dead of Annappes. Among the participants, the classes of the École Jean-Jaurès and Saint Adrien, the Youth Council and memorial associations.
After the ceremony, a procession will go to the Marianne room where, at 12:00 pm, a drink of friendship will be served with different animations:
• A photo exhibition by Terre du Nord, Combat Lands: Ascq 44, street art
• ONAC exhibition on the Liberation;
• A swing concert in front of the hall, by the Villeneuve Jazz Band;
• A photo booth with a Jeep;
• Flemish games;
• The live creation of a 3-metre street art fresco on the theme of Liberation;
• Guided tours of the garden
• A popcorn distribution for children who have participated in the “Game Hunt” organized in the classes of CM1/CM2;
• On-site catering
