48h of urban agriculture

From 16 to 18 May, the association of gardeners of Villeneuve d'Ascq participates in the 48h festival of urban agriculture, an international event that honors nature in town, gardening, compost, local agriculture... and the friendliness!
Organized in some forty cities in France, but also in Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg and the Czech Republic, this festival brings together more than 100 associations and communities committed to promoting sustainable urban agriculture that is accessible to all.
The objective? To show the many faces of urban agriculture, its actors and actresses, its practices and its many benefits for society and the environment.
