Ekiden France Environnement Villeneuve d'Ascq

The Ekiden, a concept that came straight from Japan, is a «relay marathon», 42 km 195 per team of 6 riders. Rendez-vous on 12 October at 10am at the Stadium Lille Métropole. On registrations from 12 May
The rules are simple: the 6 runners must be different and distances are imposed in the following order:

• 5 km
• 10 km
• 5 km
• 10 km
• 5 km
• 7,195 km.
  The Ekiden is an ideal playground to join a collective, meet differently and especially enjoy the emulation of a team. The course consists of a loop to be carried out once or twice depending on the relay.
  Thanks to its short distances, this incredible challenge is accessible to the greatest number (runners, clubs, students, companies, families, beginners in running...). The flat and almost entirely paved course gives the optimal conditions for athletes who wish to panic the chronometers !
  Ekiden will once again be the occasion to make the day of October 12, 2025, a festive event in the city with many animations that will complete the competition in order to welcome as it should the escorts ( family, friends, colleagues,...), the residents and walkers who will live this Ekiden like a real sports party !
