Taste the sweet specialties of the North
If you are more sweet than salty, this Sunday is full of pleasures to savour! Taste the specialties of the North: Liège and Flemish waffles, and participate in the manufacture of a sweet bread in the Museum’s oven. Even those who prefer salty may be tempted!
- From 10h to 12h and from 13h to 18h30: Sweet bread workshop with Le fournil de l'Engraineuse
Young and old, discover the bread recipe and make fun little fluffy loaves. The dough will be baked in a wood-fired oven, in the old communal bakery of Hondeghem. The opportunity to discover this beautiful traditional building dating from the eighteenth century. A convivial moment to have fun, create and develop your senses! duration 45 minutes. From 3 years.
- At 2pm and 4pm: school of yesteryear. Relive the 19th century school where
teacher or the master of the village school will teach you the subjects of the day. To your feathers and inkwells! from 8 years.
- At 2.30pm and 4.30pm: discovery of the old school
For those under 8 years old, they will be able to travel in the middle of the desks and discover the school of your elders!
- 11am and 5pm: animal appointments
Accompany our villagers to meet the farm animals! All public.
- 15h: guided tour of the museum with our costumed villagers.
