Pride Month: Ocean screening

As part of the 3rd edition of the Month of Pride in Villeneuve d'Ascq, the city invites you to a special screening of the film Ocean on Sunday, June 9 at the cinema Le Méliès (schedules announced soon).
Pride Month is an international celebration held every year in June to remind people of the importance of fighting for LGBTQIA+ rights.
Océan is a funny, sincere and deeply human documentary self-portrait that follows the actor and comedian Océan on a decisive year of his life. Known until then as Oceanerosemarie, he decides to come out, change his gender and assert himself as he is: a transgender man.
How will he and his loved ones live the physical, psychological and sentimental stages of this transition "woman to man"? A necessary, moving and enlightening film.
A projection to raise awareness, understand and celebrate all identities with kindness.
