Christmas market

The Tourist Office organizes its traditional Christmas market every weekend of this end of year from the 23 November until 15 December to the Château de Flers.
Imagine a trolley pulled by reindeer, ideal to immortalize your family visit, surrounded by small wooden chalets, tasty pancakes and hot chocolate, with treasures to discover to spoil your loved ones... All in the magical setting of the castle of Flers. The Christmas markets of the Tourist Office retain their timeless charm, and that is precisely what makes them so unique. Over four weekends, more than twenty exhibitors take turns in the courtyard and rooms of the castle. Creators, local artisans, charities of Villeneuve d'Ascq, not to mention a selection of gourmet products for the holidays, everything is carefully chosen for your greatest happiness.
From 23 November to 15 December, on Saturdays from 2 pm to 7 pm, and on Sundays from 11 am to 6 pm.

Animations

• Make your wish card. The Castle Museum will be open during each Christmas market. A silkscreen workshop will allow you to make a unique greeting card. Free and without registration.
• On Saturday, December 14th from 5 pm to 6:30 pm, bike ride from the castle district at nightfall, in the light of a headlamp, accompanied by a guide of the Adav. On return, a glass of mulled wine will warm you. On reservation.
• On Saturday, December 14 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm, turn your old textiles into a bag or bread bag. Without reservation.
• On Sunday, December 15 from 11am to 1pm, Co-mitonne teaches you how to cook an eco-friendly New Year’s Eve meal. By reservation.
• On the same Sunday, from 4:30 pm, the market will be «put in songs» by the choir Cantabile.
