A celebration to learn about the culinary traditions of the region

  • A party to be unbeatable on the culinary traditions of the region. Enjoy the Georgio Harmonie fanfare and discover the different facets of the potato. Meet our old-time villagers who will reveal the stages of potato cultivation and participate in a culinary workshop.
    Opening of the Museum at 10am, animations from 11am.
    All public
    From 10am to 7pm: discover the exhibitions "Petite patate" of a natural city and "the objective exhibition potatoes" installed in the Museum.
    Continuously: Treasure hunt on the Potato!
    At 11 am: nature visit on the potato.
    From 10:30 AM and continuously on the potato bag race day
    At 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm: workshop "Potato cake with oats". Sylvanim offers participatory, original and exclusive culinary workshops around cooking and plants by combining an educational and playful approach. The cooking will be done on site in a trailer batch at the end of the workshop, answer Sylvain’s quiz on the kitchen. Each participant leaves with their nominative preparation. Duration 50 minutes.
    At 2 PM and 4 PM: Georgio Harmonie
    From the parade to the parade, from the podium to the street, from haute-couture to fanfare, there is only one step! These 7 street models in 3-piece uniforms play with the codes and prove it in rhythm. When the haute couture fashion show inspires the harmony parade, it’s a whole collection of custom-made steps and perfectly fitted bells that take flight towards the stars to magnify everything in their path! All public.
    At 2 PM and 4 PM: school of yesteryear. Relive the 19th century school with the teacher of the village school to give you a lesson on the potato! At your feathers and inkwells! from 8 years old.
    At 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM: discovery of the school of yesteryear. For those under 8 years old, they will be able to travel among the desks and discover the school of our elders!
    At 3 PM, 3:30 PM, 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM: family workshops on the theme of potatoes. Demonstration of the unearthing of potatoes and collection of potatoes with the public.
    At 11am and 6pm: Animal appointments
    Accompany our villager to meet the farm animals!
    At 3pm and 5pm: guided tour with a villager of the museum.
    Meet our villagers in period costume and discover agriculture with the tools of yesteryear on the potato plantation and the explanation of the Warhem germoir.
    At 3:30 PM: storytelling session
